A&E Bates Motel TV Show

If you know anything about me, you will know that when it comes to TV and Movies, my favorite types are horror and science fiction. So it wouldn’t be any surprise that I am totally into the new A&E Bates Motel TV Show. Now, I will admit that at first, I wasn’t too sure if Freddie Highmore could pull up such an important (and historical) role, but I was wrong — the more I watch this show, the more I realize that the cast are perfect.

I am not one to compare a reboot to the original (OK, maybe Total Recall reboot wasn’t that good, but I think everyone will agree), but I am glad to see that the A&E TV shows lives up to the original.  The acting, the story line, the writing, it’s a combination of perfect TV, and continues to bring in millions of viewers each week to see what’s happening next at Bates Motel.

The other thing I like about Bates Motel is that it’s on A&E, which is a network that I have stopped watching due to the overwhelming amount of “reality” shows they are producing… Duck Dynasty, Storage Wars, American Hoggers… finally A&E is producing something of entertainment, not the crappy “reality” show.

Season 1 is just about to wrap up, but if you haven’t watched it, I highly recommend you check your local listing and catch up on any possible reruns. Usually networks will do a massive marathon leading up to the following season of a new, so if you can’t catch any reruns now, just wait until season 2 is about to premiere, and watch all the season 1 episodes. Yes, I said season 2 as it has been announced that A&E has renewed Bates Motel for a 2nd Season.
